Assist with data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis from diverse biomedical and research sources.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and validation of data models and analytics pipelines.
Work collaboratively with data scientists, IT specialists, and research staff to analyze experimental results and generate actionable insights.
Develop visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Document methods, code, and results following department and industry standards.
Participate in team meetings, present work progress, and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
Requirements
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Computational Biology, or a related field.
Completion of at least sophomore year by the internship start date.
Familiarity with Python (preferred), R, or similar programming languages commonly used for data analysis.
Basic understanding of statistics, data structures, and data manipulation techniques.
Strong analytical skills and a passion for solving scientific problems with data-driven approaches.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
