Vice President, Financial Lines

Role Overview

• Manage a claims team handling financial lines and transactional insurance claims
• Train and develop claims adjusters in all areas of claims handling
• Assure compliance with Best Practices and departmental policies and procedures
• Keep abreast of litigation trends and regulatory updates effecting FI and transactional matters
• Make presentations to senior management on high severity or complex matters and trends
• Analyze claims trends and statistics to assist the business in proactively managing risks and exposures
• Work closely with Underwriting counterparts in risk analysis and account meetings

Requirements

• 10+ years FI and/or transactional insurance claims experience
• Management experience preferred
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
• Ability to lead a claims team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical abilities and effective interpersonal and organizational skills
