Oversee the creation, QA, and timely deployment of email campaigns, including newsletters and event invitations, using Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights – Journeys and Cvent.
Partner with the Email Marketing Technology Manager to develop automated workflows that streamline campaign execution and improve team efficiency.
Collaborate with outsourced email production resources (contractors) to support the day-to-day request queue and provide guidance on email best practices, campaign creation, and execution.
Manage and partially own the email request queue, coordinating with external contractors to ensure campaigns are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure email campaigns adhere to brand, legal, and compliance standards, including reviewing and guiding external contractors on campaign build, deployment, and follow-up.
Optimize campaign performance through testing, personalization, and list segmentation, in close collaboration with the Email Marketing Technology Manager and Marketing Strategy team members.
Maintain ongoing documentation of evolving email best practices, updating internal guides as Microsoft rolls out new features within the Customer Insights – Journeys platform.
Partner with the Dynamics CRM team on email-related initiatives, including consent management and international regulations (e.g., GDPR), cross-platform contact syncing, and marketing list and segment creation and maintenance.
Collaborate with Marketing Strategy, Operations, and Technology teams on campaign planning, development, execution, reporting, and optimization.
Requirements
4+ years of professional work experience in email marketing or equivalent role; experience working with professional services firms a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, related field or equivalent experience.
Strong technical knowledge of enterprise-level email marketing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Vuture, Constant Contact, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, or Pardot).
Strong knowledge of email and general digital marketing best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to organize, analyze, and manage data to support email marketing initiatives.
Experience in marketing/business development and business intelligence reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Demonstrated command of grammar, spelling, and language usage, along with a strong understanding of standard business correspondence and formatting conventions.
Consistently applies a high level of attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and brand consistency across all communications.
Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and objectives as needed.
