Collaborate with a dynamic and growing team to support projects through all phases of the site evaluation and remediation life cycle
Contribute to the planning, management, reporting, and execution of various project scopes
Conduct some site field visits involving both local and regional travel
Overseeing scopes of work, schedules, and budgets, while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety requirements
Communicating effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders under the supervision of the Project Manager
Supporting routine environmental monitoring sites, reviewing data quality, supporting team members with site strategy developments, and contributing to the optimization of site remedies
Reviewing and coordinating completion of environmental reports and field activities
Helping to organize work schedules with Arcadis staff and subcontractors
Producing cost estimates, forecasting project spend, reviewing client invoices, and tracking key performance indices under the supervision of the Project Manager
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar related field
4+ years of experience in the environmental industry preferred
Previous experience with technical report writing and data evaluation, environmental project management concepts, or environmental consulting experience
Familiarity with regulatory agencies and policies (NYSDEC, NJDEP and/or USEPA), preferred not required
40-hour HAZWOPER certification (with an annual 8-hour refresher, if applicable)
