Provides strategic leadership for the design, delivery, and advancement of the Goizueta Business School’s research technology and data infrastructure
Partners closely with faculty, doctoral students, research centers, and administrative leadership to enable high-impact, data-intensive, and computationally advanced research
Leads the development of secure, scalable, and innovative computing environments that support analytics, AI/ML, econometrics, and behavioral research while ensuring compliance with institutional, legal, and funding agency requirements.
Manages and supervises staff and operations in an Information Technology (IT) area
Advises management on issues within a specific IT area to ensure compliance and uniform systems across the division and enterprise
Works closely with other area managers and directors to ensure smooth and transparent processes and systems
Designs information systems and procedures to support division operations
Hires, trains and supervises staff
Requirements
A bachelor's degree and five years of related IT experience including project management and lead or supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Master's degree in a related field preferred
Experience in a top-tier research university or business school environment preferred
Familiarity with IRB processes, sponsored research compliance, and federal funding requirements preferred
Background in AI/ML platforms, high-performance computing, or large-scale data environments preferred
Demonstrated experience supporting faculty research and grant-funded projects preferred
Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, data governance, and research data security preferred
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
