Contribute to acquisitions, divestitures, other financial transactions and strategic opportunities by supporting financial modeling, presentation development and due diligence execution
Monitor and evaluate acquisition targets and key peer activities, including tracking recent events and analyzing performance / financial statements
Support integration or separation planning activities for businesses undergoing acquisition or divestiture
Construct analytical models in support of various strategy analyses with limited supervision
Support the development and execution of RTX’s enterprise and business unit strategies
Conduct market, competitive, and financial analyses to assess trends, threats, or opportunities
Assist in the preparation of senior-level briefings, which involves summarizing and communicating insights at the right level from detailed analyses
Balance multiple projects while collaborating in a cross-functional work environment
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Proven analytical and financial modeling skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
Aerospace & defense, industrial, or technology sector experience preferred
Several years of transactional experience (e.g., top-tier investment bank, corporate development role, consulting, VC)
Creativity and strong oral and written communication skills
