Contribute to acquisitions, divestitures, other financial transactions and strategic opportunities by leading financial modeling, presentation development and due diligence execution
Monitor and evaluate acquisition targets and key peer activities, including tracking recent events and analyzing performance / financial statements
Support integration or separation planning activities for businesses undergoing acquisition or divestiture
Construct analytical models in support of various strategy analyses
Support the development and execution of RTX’s enterprise and business unit strategies
Conduct market, competitive, and financial analyses to assess trends, threats, or opportunities
Establish productive working relationships with key functions within the businesses to understand businesses / strategic objectives, and execute deals / key projects
Assist in the preparation of senior-level briefings, which involves summarizing and communicating insights at the right level from detailed analyses
Balance multiple projects while providing clear thinking and hands-on guidance to cross-functional team members in a collaborative work environment
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Proven analytical and financial modeling skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance after day one
Aerospace & defense, industrial, or technology sector experience a plus
Preferably several years of transactional experience (e.g., top-tier investment bank, corporate development role, consulting, VC)
Creativity and strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to take ownership of assigned projects/teams, handle ambiguity and independently drive for results
