Role Overview
Oversee the team responsible for all informatics support ensuring the clinical work is high-quality.
Effectively lead and develop innovative solutions in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Analyze new and complex project-related problems, creating innovative solutions.
Coordinate necessary support resources for the successful completion of projects.
Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
Collaborate with federal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align clinical informatic delivery with mission objectives, compliance, and procurement constraints.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Board certification in Clinical Informatics
8 years of experience as a clinical informatics director and/or clinical informatics lead for a healthcare system (government or private industry)
Proven ability to lead and manage large or complex projects working with federal agencies or contractors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook, etc.)
