Provide strategic leadership for research technology and data infrastructure
Partner with faculty, doctoral students, research centers, and administrative leadership
Manage and supervise staff and operations in an IT area
Advise management on compliance issues
Design information systems to support division operations
Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for research infrastructure
Consult with faculty on software needs and provide support for research projects
Lead the design and management of secure research environments
Establish policies for data governance and compliance
Develop and manage the research computing budget
Foster a service-oriented culture focused on innovation and responsiveness
Requirements
A bachelor's degree and five years of related IT experience including project management and lead or supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Master's degree in a related field (preferred)
Experience in a top-tier research university or business school environment (preferred)
Familiarity with IRB processes, sponsored research compliance, and federal funding requirements (preferred)
Background in AI/ML platforms, high-performance computing, or large-scale data environments (preferred)
Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, data governance, and research data security (preferred)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills (preferred)
