Conduct internal investigations regarding potential policy concerns and prepare clear, thorough summaries of findings.
Oversee state, federal, and agency leave requests, including FMLA, PWFA, and related compliance requirements.
Manage employee accommodation requests in accordance with ADA guidelines.
Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
Respond to Unemployment Insurance (UI) inquiries and maintain accurate records of hearings and outcomes.
Review HR documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to agencies.
Support quarterly Department of Labor (DOL) and annual EEOC reporting.
Provide additional support and take on special projects as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact and build positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are preferred.
