Develop and lead a connected, high-performing industrial engineering team and ecosystem that develops and deploys standards, tools, and best practices that improve throughput, capacity utilization, and material flow across manufacturing and distribution operations
Drive analysis-based decision-making to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and maximize asset performance
Lead the global Industrial Engineering function and set direction for process design, capacity analysis, and material flow optimization
Develop standardized methods for line balancing, time and motion studies, and capacity modeling across all factories and distribution centers
Partner with site and regional teams to identify productivity opportunities through bottleneck analysis, layout redesign, and process improvement
Embed Industrial Engineering standards into capital planning and site design to ensure scalable, efficient operations
Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning and Network Strategy teams as required to support global network analysis, scenario modeling, and footprint decisions, applying IE tools to evaluate flow, capacity, and asset performance across both manufacturing and distribution nodes
Apply Industrial Engineering best practices (value stream mapping, line balancing, constraint analysis) to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and asset utilization
Conduct time studies, process mapping, and capacity modeling to identify constraints in equipment, labor, and facility flow
Drive initiatives to reduce downtime, increase throughput, and improve first-pass yield
Partner with operations to establish KPIs and dashboards for capacity, OEE, and productivity
Identify automation and robotics opportunities and define engineering requirements for business cases and vendor selection
Partner with Automation and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure automation systems integrate seamlessly into existing production and warehouse processes
Support evaluation of AGVs, AMRs, conveyors, AS/RS, and robotic solutions to optimize flow and reduce manual handling
Expand use of simulation, digital twins, and statistical analysis to evaluate process improvements and capacity expansion options
Use standard metrics — cycle time, takt time, throughput rate, equipment uptime, and resource utilization — to drive performance visibility
Deliver concise, data-driven reports to support investment decisions and continuous improvement programs
Lead large-scale transformation programs that redesign manufacturing and warehouse layouts to enable volume growth and automation readiness
Drive cross-functional collaboration across Supply chain, with Manufacturing Operations, PMO, Supply, Logistics, Distribution, Digital, Finance and Quality to deliver measurable operational improvements
Partner to introduce performance dashboards for flow efficiency, throughput, and capacity health across all facilities
Build and lead a global Industrial Engineering community of practice focused on Lean, OEE, and data-based problem solving
Coach site Industrial Engineers (direct or dotted-line) to apply standardized methods and tools
Develop internal capability through training on IE fundamentals, simulation tools, and productivity systems
Develop career pathways and learning programs that grow internal capability in industrial engineering, intralogistics simulation modeling, and automation integration
Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and cross-functional innovation
Requirements
10+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering within high-volume manufacturing environment essential
5+ years in leadership roles
Experience in distribution or logistics engineering is preferred but not required
Deep experience in OEE improvement, process flow optimization, and capacity modeling
Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) frameworks or reliability engineering is highly beneficial
Deep technical knowledge of industrial engineering principles, including Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, value-stream mapping, and simulation
Familiarity with automation and material handling technologies (AGVs, conveyors, AMRs, AS/RS)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; MBA or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
