Role Overview
- Secure opportunities with public and private sector clients across Canada and the United States, including web design and development projects, ongoing maintenance and support engagements, and audits and training focused on growth and value.
- Work both inbound leads and plan/execute outbound activities through proactive and creative prospecting.
- Collaborate with technology and business partners to jointly develop leads and opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, responding to RFIs/RFPs, presentations, and contract negotiation, following a structured, cadence-driven process.
- Be accountable for a revenue target that directly contributes to the company’s growth objectives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients by sharing trends, insights, and best practices to help them remain competitive.
- Develop and approve project briefs, providing guidance and direction to account and project teams.
- Regularly participate in industry events in Montreal and across North America, leveraging your market knowledge and prospects to build a community around our work.
- Lead and participate in pitches and other activities that strengthen the agency-client relationship.
- Provide clear, concise updates to clients and agency leadership.
- Forecast and track key account performance indicators, reporting on account health and active opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of account activities using CRM tools and client reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an agency or professional services environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and address client needs within an agency services context.
- Demonstrated expertise in new business development.
- Strong knowledge of digital best practices, technologies, and trends — experience with Drupal, WordPress, or other open-source technologies is an asset.
- Experience managing client relationships and serving as an escalation point.
- Comfortable with public speaking, event participation, and delivering presentations.
- Ability to set and meet goals in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written.
