Construction Quality Control Manager – SSHO

Role Overview

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive quality control plans and procedures tailored to construction projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the entire construction and fabrication process to maintain the highest quality standards.
• Analyze inspection data to detect trends, identify risks, and propose improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain thorough documentation of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Train construction teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Promote a strong culture of quality and accountability across all project phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field – Preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality control on construction projects – Required
• Demonstrated experience with inspections, quality audits, and process improvement initiatives
• Proficient in analyzing data and identifying actionable quality trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, documentation, and leadership capabilities
• OSHA 30 Certification – Required
• EM385 (40 Hour) Certificate
• Required
• Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certificate
• Required
• Must be able to commute to and work at Ft. Stewart, GA – Required
• Must be able to relocate prior to start date – Required
• Willingness to travel up to 25% – Preferred
• First Aid/CPR Certified
• Required
