Role Overview
- Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects including, but not limited to CTDEEP regulatory projects and/or compliance projects
- Write and review technical reports and proposals including site assessment reports (Phase I, II and III), remedial plans and closure reports.
- Communicate with state and federal regulators as necessary
- Maintain relationships with existing clients, develop relationships with new clients
- Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work products
- Ensure safe performance of project work
- Actively develop your own career growth
Requirements
- BA/BS in Environmental Science/Engineering or another related field. MS a plus
- 15+ years of solid technical and management experience
- CTDEEP regulatory project experience
- CT LEP in good standing
- Strong understanding of Connecticut RSRs
- Ability to mentor and train staff
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices
- Valid driver's license, ability to pass MVR and reliable transportation are required.
