Retirement Plan Design Consulting: Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plan design consulting, proposal and feasibility study generation, assist with preparation for point-of-sale client meetings.
Proactive Sales Campaigns: Document activity around outbound calls, scheduled meetings, virtual study groups, group webinars, etc. to promote retirement plan business growth and awareness of resources.
Fiduciary Programs: Manage the promotion of the 3(16) Fiduciary Plan Administrative services. Promote use in advisor discussions and consult with advisors on benefits for plan sponsors.
Advisor Training and Education: Actively participate in industry conferences and seminars to remain current with retirement plan industry trends and provide insights to advisors.
Productively work together and collaborate with internal partners such as Cetera’s Retirement Plan Solution Consultant and Regional Growth Teams.
Assist advisors with issue resolution
Travel to conferences and advisor locations for site visits (up to 20%)
Requirements
Experience: 3-5 years with a focus in the retirement plan industry (401k, etc.)
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree (Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or Communications preferred)
Designations or qualifications preferred QKS, QKA or equivalent designation or willingness to attain within 18 months
Understanding of retirement plan design, retirement products, and investments
Software/System Skills: Microsoft Office (required), Salesforce.com (preferred)
Ideal candidate would have experience in an advisor facing role within a TPA, broker-dealer, Recordkeeper, Etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Positive, customer focused attitude and demeanor with a desire to provide outstanding service.
Work well in groups and have good problem-solving skills
