Develop next generation solutions and manage customer relationships.
Drive and execute strategic business development plans for targeted product line.
Build customer relationships from technical to executive management stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for revenue growth targets and issue resolution.
Position the company as an innovation partner aligning solutions with customer strategies.
Lead regular executive business reviews.
Collaborate with account management to follow opportunities through to a sale.
Create customer presentations and technical articles, develop webinars, participate in congresses and trade fairs.
Work closely with product line management and customer sales teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Monitor automotive electronic and software technology trends.
Provide intelligence on competitor offerings, customer strategies, and market shifts.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; MBA a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 7–10 years in strategic automotive/electronics/software business development or sales.
Successful experience with working with Automotive OEM /Tier One Suppliers and related industries.
Knowledge of Software Platforms and networking standards for Automotive and other industries.
Ability to recognize, develop and propose embedded software solutions to existing or potential customers.
Good understanding of the embedded software builds processes.
Experience with long-cycle sales and complex solution selling.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of automotive industry challenges (EV, ADAS, connected services, digital platforms).
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to influence and build consensus with stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic mindset with execution discipline including follow up and time management.
Ability to work effectively with local and global cross-functional teams.
Ability to travel 20 to 40% as needed.
