Provides analysis of workflow and recommends solutions to meet department needs.
Translates department requirements into business functional requirements.
Assists with design, development, system configuration, implementation and support of assigned Epic applications.
Responsible for planning, training, and evaluation of application functionality.
Works with the team and key customers to ensure appropriate development of training.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information services, health administration, business administration, health sciences or related field of study
Two (2) years of Epic or integrated EMR experience
In lieu of the educational and experience requirements: Associate degree and four (4) years of IT experience or High School Diploma and seven (7) years related IT experience may be considered.
One (1) year of Epic build and/or support experience may be considered.
Epic Module Certification as required by the position
CPHIMS preferred
