Assess, coordinate and optimize human, physical and budget resources as well as project activities
Advise, guide and provide specialized expertise to others during the project assessment, planning and development phases
Contribute to feasibility studies and ensure robust management of risks and dependencies
Recommend solutions, keeping in mind management objectives and CBC/Radio-Canada policies
Lead events related to the agile process, including daily scrums, planning (Sprints/Kanban), retrospectives and reviews
Cultivate a self-organizing and high-performing team culture by promoting autonomy, accountability and cross-functional collaboration, helping teams identify and overcome obstacles to ensure smooth progress and value delivery
Identify, define, track and analyze key indicators to measure team performance and delivery
Help negotiate agreements with project participants both in-house and externally, based on project needs
Validate, with all experts involved, the various project development phases so as to ensure compliance with initial objectives and take corrective action as needed
Establish control processes for all project phases and ensure that acceptance criteria are met
Throughout the project, assess and verify alignment with initial objectives
Assume responsibility for reporting, including progress reports
Work with experts to find solutions to problems and limitations, be they technical or operational in nature
Escalate blockers when support is needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, master’s degree in project management or other relevant university degree, or equivalent experience
Five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience in a similar position
Experience with the product development process and high-profile digital projects
Ability to oversee projects with a strong technical component, related to data
Experience with the Agile process (Scrum and Kanban); certification an asset
Experience with iterative delivery of value: releasing early and often to ensure that business value is realized quickly
Experience with the Atlassian software suite (Jira, Confluence, Tempo)
Familiarity with Google Workspace; knowledge of Google AI tools an asset
Keen interest in digital and emerging technologies
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Proven ability to work with cross-functional disciplines, instill trust among peers and influence others effectively and positively
Strong, inclusive leader who can bring people together
Excellent spoken and written French
Bilingualism (English/French) mandatory
