About this role
Role Overview
Partner with the VP of Sales to target, map, and execute prospecting strategies within your territory
Drive daily outbound activity via phone, email, and social to book introductory meetings
Lead prospect presentations and manage opportunities from first contact through close
Build, manage, and forecast a healthy sales pipeline
Travel 1–3 times per quarter for tradeshows and on-site meetings
Act as a trusted advisor, bringing industry insight and clearly articulating the value EdSights provides
Requirements
3+ years of sales experience, including 2+ years in a closing role
Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Resilience and consistency in a results-driven environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
Passion for learning, growth, and making an impact in education
Experience in or selling into the higher education market (Nice to Haves)
Experience managing sales cycles of 3+ months (Nice to Haves)
