Role Overview
plays a critical role in supporting The Nature Conservancy’s reputational risk management and crisis preparedness efforts.
contributes to the development and implementation of strategic communications plans, provides counsel on sensitive issues, and manages writing, editing and project management work related to crisis communications preparedness and response.
helps the team navigate sensitive issues and maintain continuity during a time of global political and economic volatility.
help advance TNC’s reputation strategy and maintain credibility and trust with reporters at top-tier media outlets, high-value donors, policy decision makers, staff, and corporate partners.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 9 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience managing staff and teams.
Experience developing communications, media and engagement strategies and measuring results.
Experience cultivating and managing client relationships.
Experience developing and leading complex projects or programs including financial responsibility and measuring results of strategic plans and programs.
