Provide leadership direction for Category Consultants
Facilitate and develop spirit and wine partnerships with major retailers across the division
Apply category management principles to improve retail partners market performance
Manage daily performance, training, and development of Category Consultants
Oversee activities of category management processes in strategic accounts
Assist in writing category presentations and accompany Chain Account Executives when making category presentations
Direct performance of analytical research of syndicated market and/or retail data
Manage one or more subordinates which include several management positions and one or more analyst positions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Six to eight years related experience
Previous on and off premise (retail) sales experience with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
