The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects within the Operations department, except for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, for which they will specifically manage the industrialization phase.
Define project structure and objectives in coordination with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans and manage schedules, milestones, and rigorous cost tracking.
Oversee task execution with operational teams: R&D, Quality, Production, etc.
Organize and lead governance forums: project reviews, progress meetings, and coordination sessions.
Act as a driver of cross-functional collaboration, promoting a positive, results-oriented working dynamic.
Define and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) for each project.
Manage scope changes, prioritize decisions, and resolve project roadblocks.
Provide regular reporting to the portfolio manager (progress, variances, risks, action plans).
Document lessons learned at project closure for knowledge capture and reuse.
Requirements
University degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of project management experience, with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in multi-project settings and working with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong skills in planning, coordination, deliverable tracking, and leading project teams.
Ability to influence and align stakeholders around a common objective.
Strong results and quality orientation, with the ability to deliver quickly and efficiently.
Proficiency with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
Bilingual in French and English to support our clients and suppliers across Canada and the United States.
