Role Overview
- Deliver federal and state income tax compliance services for assigned clients, including original and amended filings
- Maintain client relationships and oversee timely preparation of federal and state income tax filings
- Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities
- Travel to client locations for various engagements
- Collaborate on tax research projects for clients
- Manage projects for income tax engagements, including oversight, scheduling, and documentation
Requirements
- Experience in public accounting and industry
- Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing income tax returns for public and private companies
- Expertise in federal and state income tax compliance
- Experience with partnership returns
- Preferred experience with BEAT, GILTI, FDII and Forms 5471s/5472s
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Tax, CPA, or JD preferred
- Minimum 8-10 years of tax professional services experience
- Intermediate knowledge of GOSYSTEMS Tax RS software, ONESOURCE software, and/or Corptax software is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft® Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook
