Support the design, analysis, and construction of all types of infrastructure, dam, and mining projects across Canada
Lead complex numerical analysis using state of the practice software (FLAC 2D/3D, PLAXIS, etc.)
Manage and coordinate geotechnical-focused and multidisciplinary project teams, commensurate with your experience and capabilities
Mentor colleagues across a breadth of experience fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners
Contribute to business development, proposal preparation, and market expansion initiatives
Drive innovation by leading or contributing to digitization initiatives, advanced numerical modeling, market research, and the development of emerging technologies, with a focus on climate change adaptation, risk, and liability reduction
Requirements
Master’s degree in Geological, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering (PhD an asset)
20+ years of relevant industry experience
Experienced in numerical modelling, focused on geotechnical engineering solutions
Knowledge of relevant British Columbia and Canadian codes, guidelines and standards
Experience with geotechnical software solutions (GeoStudio™, LeapFrog, Rocscience)
Demonstrated ability to work and manage projects independently
Proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills
Passion for making a positive impact through engineering
Effective communication skills, including report writing and client engagement
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement and mentorship of developing engineers
