About this role
Role Overview
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors
- Review the work of bookkeepers
- Produce annual financial statements and management accounts
- Manage daily accounting activities for Ogier Global clients
- Support audit preparation and assist with the management of audits
- Monitor and track the progress of financial information preparation
- Prepare accurate routine month end and quarter end management accounts
- Identify opportunities for improvements in processes and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls
- Support, mentor, and guide junior members of the team
- Take on additional responsibilities as required
Requirements
- Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Proven experience in client accounting or accounts preparation
- Client-facing experience
- Knowledge of Real Estate, Private Wealth, or Corporate accounting environments is advantageous
- Experience with Caseware or Viewpoint is beneficial but not essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong communication, time management, and prioritisation skills
