Represent Axpo Trgovina in financial matters with Croatian regulators, auditors, banks, and internal stakeholders.
Manage outsourced accounting activities with Axpo Shared Service Center (SSC) in Bulgaria, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Review and approve SSC outputs, ensuring compliance with Croatian accounting standards (HSFI/IFRS) and local tax regulations, including e-invoicing and fiscalization.
Prepare and file statutory financial statements and ensure adherence to the Croatian Accounting Act.
Oversee local tax filings (VAT, CIT, WHT) and liaise with Croatian tax authorities.
Handle regulatory reporting specific to Axpo Trgovina, including HERA, ESRS, and Odysee-mure.
Lead financial planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting, in collaboration with teams in Bulgaria and Switzerland.
Ensure implementation of local internal controls and Axpo Group accounting policies.
Coordinate local statutory and group audits.
Support local management and group controlling on Croatian entity topics.
Requirements
Croatian chartered/authorized accountant
degree in accounting, finance, or economics
5+ years of experience in accounting/finance, ideally in the energy or trading sector
Expertise in Croatian accounting law, HSFI, IFRS (especially IFRS 9), and local tax regulations
Experience managing outsourced/shared service operations
Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and closing processes, with a good understanding of derivatives
Fluent in Croatian and English
Proficient in Tagetik, Business Central, Power BI, and Excel.
