The Processing Manager leads a team of full-time employees and contingent seasonal workers with a focus on safe and compliant operations, people development and operational excellence to ensure high-quality and timely processing of all pre-commercial and commercial seed inventories at the local vegetable seed processing facility.
Maintaining high performing staffing levels within department, requiring appraisal, training and development and career planning by using HR-instruments, guidelines, procedures and advice to select and retain competent employees and ensure an efficient and effective functioning department.
Planning, organizing and directing all functions of the assigned sub-department to ensure high-quality and timely execution of pre-commercial and commercial inventories.
Overseeing order fulfillment in line with established business requirements for quality and timeliness.
Managing business-related activities, including process improvement efforts, complaint resolution, and audit participation and execution of corrective actions.
