Perform microprocessor-based system start-ups at domestic and international customer locations
Assist senior technical personnel in proving system/station configurations on in-house systems
Provide emergency (24-hour) technical support to customers and Service Technicians in their effort to troubleshoot system problems
Assist in performing microprocessor-based system upgrades and develop a working knowledge of all current microprocessor system feature software releases
Become proficient in the use of the SST, Console, SP2 & E3 Configurators
Become proficient in system troubleshooting
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate degree in electronics or equivalent work/military experience
Ability to read color code charts and work in an industrial environment (can not be color blind)
Ability to lift 35 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
Excellent communication skills
Completion of required skill elements
Six (6) months previous experience as a Service Technician
Ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally
Must be able to satisfy international visa requirements
Ability to obtain BOSIET Certification & TWIC Credentials
