Provide administrative and clerical support specifically related to supply chain department activities, managers or staff.
Maintain files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders and other related documentation.
Maintain information on computer systems.
Assist in expediting orders.
May assist buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates.
May develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items.
Prepare standard requests for quotation.
Perform a variety of routine activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit.
Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources.
Compile, review and analyze data.
Use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.
May design processes to enhance work flow.
Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years of experience
Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
Knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills
U.S. Citizenship required.
