Define a fully comprehensive category strategy for Indirect goods and services based on assessments of internal and external markets.
Translate regional/global procurement strategy into detailed category plans with a set of measurable global, regional, and local targets.
Facilitate procurement processes and policies for regional/global alignment.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and avoidance attributable to the P&L.
Execute on target opportunities by conducting strategic sourcing projects and supplier selection initiatives using best practices and e-sourcing/digital tools.
Lead the negotiations and development of key contracts with suppliers, legal, and business stakeholders.
Develop risk management strategies to avoid potential supply disruptions including alternative sourcing options and product/service availability.
Lead a supplier enablement strategy to maximize spend transactions and manage key strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and service commitments are met.
Lead the optimization of digital cataloging of key procurement contracts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of procurement/purchasing leadership experience in Indirect Procurement.
Experience with SAP Ariba and other SAP tools.
Experience in international procurement/sourcing with a track record of leading change and cost reduction in cross-cultural environments.
Strong oral and written communication skills, highly organized, and have excellent problem solving/decision making abilities.
Excellent analytical and financial acumen including cost modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proven strategic behavior and decision making that creates a clear vision and strategy while leading a function in a complex, matrixed environment.
