Manage and assist in projects under the EPMO Portfolio, including projects initiated through product teams, strategic projects, and technology
Assist in development and managing project artifacts and processes including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
Define project objectives, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Execute project planning and tracking, document and communicate project statuses and risks, including standard project status reports and ad hoc communication as assigned.
Manage change control through identification and evaluation of impact on proposed and necessary business or technical changes to scope, requirements, designs or plans.
Keep management and key stakeholders informed on a timely basis on project progress, status and/or concerns to ensure that expectations are met.
Assist in managing and coordinating the implementation of IT projects.
Assist in development of detailed proposals to support Guild projects.
Facilitate onboarding contractors for projects.
Build relationships and work closely with IT and business leaders and staff.
Maintain up to date RAID log to document project risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions.
Identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues.
Analyze project delivery performance metrics, develop KPIs, and project reporting against project milestones, budget and other plan expectations.
Contribute to development and maturity of the Guild EPMO project management practice through development of tools, templates, processes, and standards.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management or related field to the position or equivalent, required.
Minimum three years' experience as an IT professional.
Minimum of one to three years of project management experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Prior experience in Mortgage Banking or Financial Services systems preferred.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
Working knowledge of Jira and Tempo tools, or similar IT management software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required.
