Manage interface between Operations Program Management, Design Engineering, and Operations to assess risk and provide solutions.
Perform Manufacturing Readiness Assessments using the DoD Manufacturing Readiness level (MRL) framework.
Analyze product/program maturity and assigns manufacturing readiness levels using the DoD MRL threads as a guideline.
Create Manufacturing transition plans.
Provide input into new production contract proposals for Operations.
Deliver professional written and verbal communication to both internal and external stakeholders including L3Harris customers.
Leads, plans and conducts technical projects typically related to manufacturability, product performance, yields, and process capability.
Develop technical specifications, interface control documents, manufacturing plans and procedures, analyzes configuration and processing solutions, and tests conformance to specifications.
Recommend new or improved design solutions and processes; review literature, patents and current industry practices of relevance to assigned project.
Follow processes in conformance with established policies and objectives.
Participate in critical design reviews.
Actively participate in Failure Review Board (FRB) investigations and subsequent Root Cause, Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
Partner with other organizations to create and execute improved manufacturing plans which drive measurable improvements to the portion of the Company’s AOP that falls within this role’s span of control.

Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree & a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in ME, EE, IE, or equivalent.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience with wireless communication or similar systems and related system architecture, hardware design, integration and qualification.
Required experience in product development (preferably in military application environments)
Required skills: Presentation and communication skills (verbal/written/visual)
Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
Effective coordination of project(s) and efforts of technical support personnel
Ability to productively contribute work, ideas and collaboration as part of a team
