Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for commercial roles (account managers, business development managers, sales directors, technical sales, etc.)
Work closely with sales leaders to understand territory dynamics, customer segments, performance indicators (KPIs), sales cycles, and hunter vs. farmer needs
Build strong talent pools leveraging your knowledge of the local market (universities, job fairs, associations, industry networks, etc.)
Identify and approach passive talent using advanced sourcing tools and recruiting platforms
Serve as an ambassador for Univar Solutions by clearly communicating our value proposition, culture, and career paths to candidates
Assess candidates for sales aptitude, resilience, relationship-building skills, and commercial mindset
Identify candidates with future leadership potential to support long-term succession planning
Maintain strong recruitment metrics, ensure data accuracy, and keep pipelines transparent in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Develop and maintain a leading sales talent network in specialty ingredients, specialty chemicals, and related industries
Participate in job fairs, visit regional sites, and attend key market events
Join sales meetings and team touchpoints to remain integrated with business activities
Requirements
Bilingual in French and English at an advanced level
Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience for sales/commercial roles
Excellent command of recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM/ATS)
Proven ability to deliver quickly and effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to promote roles and convey our culture authentically
Good understanding of B2B sales cycles, territory management, performance metrics, and value-based selling
Track record of placing high-performing sales talent
Ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate closely with sales leadership on current and future hiring needs

Willingness to travel and maintain a regular presence across Canada, including Toronto and Montreal
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is an asset
