Structured program to introduce trainees to the different areas of intensive care nursing at Augsburg University Hospital
Participation in observation days in both surgical and medical intensive care units as well as adjacent departments
Participation in further training and continuing education
Identification of opportunities for improvement
Active contribution of ideas and initiatives
Theoretical and practical training modules include, among others: PDMS, ILS, resuscitation, ECMO, Impella, and hemodialysis
Observerships in: Emergency Department, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Endoscopy, Anesthesia, Operating Room, Pre-medication and Pain Clinic, and more
The trainee program includes a structured onboarding concept in each area (surgical and two internal medicine intensive care units)
Over 18 months you will rotate through three intensive care units and, after onboarding, work actively and independently in patient care
Requirements
You are a qualified nurse with a completed three-year vocational training
Initial experience in intensive care nursing is an advantage
You are interested in personal development and in advancing intensive care at Augsburg University Hospital
You are interested in new challenges and open to innovations
You are a team player; openness and strong communication skills characterize you
