Underwrite and analyze highly complex new and renewal business independently within delegated authority levels
Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and customers to drive business retention and acquisition
Participate in sales team meetings and represent Zurich at industry events as needed
Conduct market and competitor research to understand industry trends and emerging risks
Lead the development and implementation of client engagement plans
Analyze existing client portfolios, claims data, and product performance to identify growth opportunities
Actively participate in risk selection, pricing, and deal structuring discussions

High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing roles
High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 or more years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of underwriting experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading technical peers
Proven expertise in underwriting highly complex risks
Relevant education or professional experience for specialized lines (Surety, Financial Lines, Cyber, Construction)
