Verify correct posting of new purchase requisitions
Support maintenance of the account assignment manual
Fixed asset accounting with a focus on asset additions and disposals
Accounts receivable accounting including credit risk management and monitoring of outstanding receivables
Monitor inventory accounting including support for stocktaking activities
Reconcile payroll accounting accounts
Contribute to reporting to third parties and support external financial audits
Prepare VAT returns
Review VAT-related matters including posting of non-monetary value transfers
Maintain the intercompany transactions register for transfer pricing documentation
Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training, ideally as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte/r) or industrial clerk (Industriekaufmann/-frau)
At least 2 years of professional experience in finance/accounting
Alternatively, a completed bachelor's degree in business administration/economics with practical experience (internships/traineeships/audit assistance) or an equivalent qualification
Confident user of MS Excel
Experience with SAP or another relevant accounting software
Knowledge of accounting under the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Knowledge of tax law (VAT, corporate income tax, trade tax) and experience with IFRS is an advantage
Fluent German (C1) and good English (B1) required
Quick comprehension, strong willingness to learn and resilience
