Role Overview

• Accurately processing patient billing, managing insurance claims, and ensuring timely reimbursement.
• Reviewing medical records, coding procedures, and collaborating with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, and proficiency in billing software are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; college coursework a plus.
• Preferred 1-3 years’ experience in medical billing and collections, as well as insurance verification.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365
• Medical Coding Certification (Preferred)
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
