Provide functional support for the Oracle EBS 12.2 application.
Act as a liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring solutions meet business objectives and technical standards.
Configuration management: adhere to versioning procedures and document work according to set standards.
Write detailed functional design documents based on new or changed business requirements.
Review of business procedures and functional setup.
Make recommendations for changes, improvements etc. based on best business practices.
Prepare, run and document unit tests, system tests and user acceptance tests.
Requirements
Hold at least a High School Certificate.
Excellent understanding of the Oracle EBS modules: GL, AP, AR, CE, EBTax, Sub-Ledger Accounting and Project Accounting.
Thorough understanding of Oracle Projects (PA) including integration with subledgers and** GL**.
Strong understanding of purchasing in relation to the finance modules.
Excellent understanding of** budget accounting** (summary account, budgetary control configuration) and encumbrance accounting processes.
Understanding month-end and year-end processes of predefined sub-ledgers and GL.
Knowledge all aspects of GL reporting, including but not limited to identification of appropriate standard reports and the development of any additional reports required.
Thorough understanding of bank (auto-)reconciliation process and electronic bank statement integration.
Experience with electronic payment formats testing and maintenance,** integration with banks**.
Thorough accounting knowledge, including but not limited to Projects Encumbrance Accounting, GL encumbrance accounting, accrual accounting and experience of Public Sector accounting processes.
Basic SQL and SQL*Plus knowledge.
The following experiences are considered an advantage:
Experience with the following Oracle EBS add-on applications: Apro Imaging, GL Wands, More4Apps, Blitz Reporting.
Experience with Kyriba treasury management.
Experience with e-invoicing and Peppol.
Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) or integrations between EBS and EPM.
Proficiency in English language at a minimum C1 level.
