Partner with the Risk, Policy & Compliance team on ER strategy and translate it into actionable aspects.
Lead, develop, and performance-manage a global team of 10–12 ER 'Advisors', building depth of expertise, consistent decision-making, and strong professional standards.
Provide oversight and guidance on complex, sensitive, or high-risk ER cases, ensuring quality, consistency, and defensibility of outcomes across jurisdictions.
Act as a senior advisor to HR leadership, Legal and global investigations, and business executives on employee relations risk, trends, and critical matters.
Balance global standards with local legal and cultural requirements, working closely with Legal teams to ensure compliant and pragmatic solutions.
Leverage ER data and trend analysis to identify systemic issues, inform policy and process improvements, and provide actionable insight to senior leadership.
Oversee engagement with external counsel where required, supporting legal teams with litigation strategy, settlement decisions, and cost-effective resolution of disputes.
Assess, interpret, and apply employment law and regulatory requirements to employee relations matters, providing practical, risk-aware advice to managers and People partners.
Drive preventative ER approaches through leader education, guidance, and tooling.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent
12+ years of experience in progressive HR and ER related roles and team leadership
Deep employee relations expertise with a proven track record of leading complex, high-risk ER matters across multiple jurisdictions
Global people leadership experience, having led and developed geographically distributed ER or HR advisory teams
Strong multi-jurisdictional employment law knowledge, with the ability to balance global policy consistency with local legal, regulatory, and cultural requirements
Executive-level stakeholder influence, including experience advising senior leaders on employee relations risk, culture, and sensitive people issues in complex, matrixed organisations
