About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for conversion and retention of national and regional builder roofing and stone sales
Manage key relationships with national and regional builders
Maintain and improve builder relationships in cooperation with multiple local sales teams
Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs
Maintain accurate client records, keeping builders up to date on current contracts/rebates
Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
Work with local Territory Managers and customers to sell premium products on value vs. pricing
Evaluate and make necessary changes to contracts or bidding strategies
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.
Cross-sell multiple product lines, Stone and Roofing
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in building products
Ability to negotiate pricing with builders in multiple markets
Project management skills
Analytical, financial and data driven
MS Office suite proficient
Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback.
