Agreeing and documenting costs and service level agreements with the 3PL distribution partners
Link between partnerships team, NPD team and Ops team. Moving all stock from source, to distillers to warehouse.
Overseeing consolidation & dispatch activity. Ensuring that the 3PL is dispatching orders on time, in full and within budget
Overseeing consolidation & dispatch activity of global B2B orders
Arranging cost effective and efficient transport logistics, to ensure products arrive on time and in full.
Ownership of transport side of mass movements, examples being warehouse move or disposals.
Analysing data sets and reporting performance to senior management, ensuring all orders fulfilled by our 3PL & Carrier are invoiced for correctly
Oversee maintenance of duty records, deferment account and drawback claims, as well as ownership of packaging tax, duty compliance, customs compliance
Requirements
Ideally min 2+ years experience in a similar role
Experience of B2C fulfilment and shipping highly desired
Experience managing high volume third party relationships (pick, pack and dispatch)
Used to setting, and working with, demanding operational SLA’s (e.g. pick and pack success, late orders, lost / damaged in transit etc etc). Should be familiar with the day to day running of operational facilities.
Team player
Good negotiation skills (comfortable negotiating costs and comfortable working with budgets)
Highly numerate (must be confident with data and Excel)
Good presentation skills
Experience of dealing with alcohol duty and bonding would be a big plus (but not essential)
Must be comfortable in a dynamic, “start-up” environment (we’re a big company but we act fast)
Love of gin is a plus!
