Independently manage a commercial book of business
Serve as primary point of contact for moderate-sized accounts, including a minimum of two Commercial Top 50 accounts
Lead marketing efforts, renewal negotiations, and carrier strategy to secure optimal outcomes
Conduct in-depth coverage analysis and develop tailored risk management solutions
Drive retention initiatives and identify opportunities for account rounding and upselling
Collaborate with Senior Account Managers and support staff to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction
Navigate accounts across diverse industries (not limited to niche sectors)
Support entertainment-related accounts and complex business models as needed
Utilize the Agency Management System (AMS) to manage workflows and documentation (experience required)
Participate in quarterly (or biannual) in-person meetings if remote; Calabasas-based team members work in-office two days per week
Perform additional duties, projects, and research as assigned
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years (15 years preferred) of commercial insurance experience
Valid Property & Casualty license (required)
CIC designation preferred or currently in progress
Demonstrated success managing and growing a moderate-sized book of business
Strong technical expertise across multiple lines of business
Experience working across a variety of industries (not solely niche-focused)
Proficiency with an Agency Management System (AMS) is mandatory
Ability to operate independently with high accountability and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
Stable career progression
Must be able to work California business hours
Occasional travel may be required.
