Assist with managing the international tax compliance workstream to ensure corporate income tax returns for the assigned entities in the EMEA region are prepared and filed timely and accurately.
Prepare and review VAT returns for the EMEA entities and ensure that they are filed in a timely manner.
Assist the Tax Director and Tax Manager on various issues, queries and projects that arise in the EMEA region.
Assist with the calculation of the tax provision of the EMEA entities.
Assist with preparing the US GAAP to Local GAAP differences for tax provisioning.
Support the Company’s global transfer pricing initiative which includes but not limited to the master file, local files, Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR) and CBCR Notifications.
Work closely with the external service providers and the internal team members on the R&D tax credit and grant applications in various countries.
Actively develop general international tax technical expertise as well as special tax knowledge on the tax law changes in the EMEA region. Work with external tax advisors in developing and documenting issues related to the international income tax positions.
Assist the Tax Director & Tax Manager with local tax audits to ensure the timely and efficient resolution with minimal tax liability.
Assist in responding to inquiries from business units and foreign entities.
Work closely with the tax team to implement tax projects and planning initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
Accounting or Tax Qualification required.
3+ years directly related experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be fluent in English.
Excellent tax research and tax technical writing skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work well on a cross functional team as well as operate effectively in a corporate culture.
Strong communication, project management and organization skills required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
