Advise claims professionals on exposure, resolution strategies and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate extra-contractual liability.
Coordinate with outside counsel and provide litigation support.
Develop and deliver training programs and guidance documents for claims staff.
Monitor emerging legal issues and legislative changes impacting auto insurance.
Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to claims handling and coverage determinations.

J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in insurance coverage analysis, defense or claims legal advisory roles.
Strong working knowledge of non-standard auto insurance and related bodily injury/material damage claims.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must reside or be licensed in California.
Demonstrated expertise in California, Arizona, and Texas insurance law.
Prior experience advising on extra-contractual claims and bad faith litigation.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in the auto insurance industry.
