About this role
Role Overview
- Develop tools and processes within the scope of service management and 2nd/3rd line application support
- Service level management, monitoring, and control
- Analyze and resolve incidents and problems
- Analyze, document, and improve internal processes and tools
- Provide 24/7 application support with on-call rotation
- Communicate with Technical and Functional teams
- Identify issues and implement monitoring solutions to ensure service control
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
- +3 years of experience in operations or application support
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments
- Experience with Scripting languages (e.g., KSH/Bash, Python, Perl)
- Knowledge of Ethernet networking (TCP/IP)
- Knowledge of ITIL and Ansible playbooks for task and configuration automation
- Experience with SQL / MySQL and REST APIs
- Experience with ELK, Grafana, including dashboard creation and alerting
- Familiarity with IT best practice standards/frameworks such as ITIL.
