Developing and implementing strategic plans to expand and optimise Okta incremental business
Identifying and recruiting new channel partners to increase Okta market share
Analysing market trends and competitor activities to refine channel strategies
Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new channel partners
Providing training and support to channel partners to ensure effective product representation
Owning pipeline generation and conversion across the distribution led partners
Monitoring sales targets, KPIs and performance of channel partners
Analysing sales data and generating reports to assess channel performance and identify areas for improvement
Collaborating with partners to develop and execute joint marketing and sales initiatives
Attending regular cadence meetings with Okta sales and distribution leaders
Gathering and analysing feedback from channel partners to inform sales and marketing strategies
Staying informed about industry trends and developments to anticipate market changes and opportunities
Keeping up to date with Okta technology alliances and competitive offers
Regular reporting to EXN and Okta key stakeholders
Requirements
A minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant sales experience within the Cybersecurity industry
Ability to effectively build relationships, and uncover opportunities for Okta with a value-based approach
Ability to navigate organisational structures to identify and engage champions, key decision makers, and influencers
Good written and oral communication skills to create professional presentations for interested partners
Good customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management and organisational skills
Previous experience in a BDR, SDR, inside sales or other relevant B2B sales role
High sense of urgency with an optimistic approach to new business development and an energy and desire to prospect daily for Okta
Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals, with evidence of having methodically built and sustained a quality pipeline of prospects and moved them through the sales cycle
Experience with CRM software
A passion for helping existing and potential partners
Willingness to travel to give presentations, meet with potential partners, attend conferences, trade shows, and other events
