Refine prioritized initiatives with business areas by eliciting requirements, needs, and dependencies.
Model tables, data pipelines, and other technical solutions, validating them with technical leadership to ensure alignment with our reference architectures.
Present technical solutions to initiative stakeholders and to the engineering team through organized backlog refinement.
Write user stories that enable data engineers to implement the technical work, creating the backlog to be prioritized in Sprints.
Monitor engineers’ development activities, keeping the project management tool up to date and reporting status to leadership.
Support decision-making using data, advising teams on the most appropriate way to consume data and which data is most suitable for each business situation.
Act as a steward/guardian of the data platform within the data domains you manage, maintaining platform health and governance.
Ensure the upkeep and accuracy of data platform documentation.
Share information about initiatives under your domain with the Data Product Owners (Data POs) of other data engineering teams.
Be an influencer of a data-driven culture.
Adapt quickly when priorities or situations change.
Work autonomously while avoiding individualism, leveraging the team’s diverse professional profiles to amplify deliveries.

Proficiency in SQL.
Experience with agile methodologies.
Experience modeling databases, both transactional and analytical.
Experience with cloud computing environments (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.).
Experience with data consumption and manipulation tools.
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
Ability to gather and document requirements, design technical solutions, and translate them into a backlog of user stories for development.
Experience in data ingestion/transformation development or strong interest in the related tools.
