Legal and Administrative Support: Conduct legal research (legislation), draft legal documents, contracts, meeting minutes, and simple court filings.
Document Management: Organize evidence and legal files, perform fact-checking, and review deposition transcripts.
Corporate Formalities: Handle company formation, amendments, and dissolution, including filings with the Board of Trade (Junta Comercial) and the Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal).
Certificates and Licenses: Issue and monitor negative certificates (federal, state, municipal) and obtain operating permits (alvarás).
Deadline Management: Monitor administrative and contentious proceedings (including PROCON and notary/public registry matters).
Stakeholder Communication: Support client and witness contact and coordinate meeting scheduling.
Requirements
Law degree.
Basic knowledge of litigation routines and procedural deadlines.
Familiarity with case management systems and legal control processes.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Previous experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a legal administrative role.
Experience in legal controllership or legal operations is a strong plus.
Experience managing deadlines and organizing legal information.
