Manager, Commercial Structuring

Role Overview

• Provide financial and commercial support to renewable energy projects of all stages across the Americas region
• Oversee project financial models and project economics to improve company decision-making and optimize economics and risks
• Provide strategic recommendations relating to renewable energy projects to prioritize throughout the portfolio
• Lead pricing, structuring, and risk assessment for third party revenue contracts on Americas projects
• Support Growth, Development, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) groups in assessing commercial viability of longer-term strategic initiatives
• Develop and instill commercial knowledge and a culture of commercial excellence throughout different functions/teams in the renewable energy business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or related field
• 1 year of experience in job offered or as a financial analyst in renewable energy, private equity, or investment banking
• Knowledge of value drivers of renewable project economics, including tax equity financing structures, offtake structures, and equipment supply and service agreements.
• Experience with project management and analytical and financial modeling.
