Initiate and manage effective communications between teaming partners, vendors, customers and internal departments for proposal development, capture and pricing support to win new business
Review major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met
Ensure that client and vendor issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, resolving or escalating issues in a timely fashion to supervision and the appropriate personnel and or department
Negotiate vendor terms to meet both client and company needs
Assist in managing vendor relationships while acting as the primary contact for vendors
Monitor proposal and critical quote dates to ensure all deadlines are met
Obtain vital vendor information necessary for proposal/quote development
Work with Proposal Team to develop proposal responses to client opportunities and requests for proposals
Coordinate with Operations, Program Management and Proposal Team on proposal pricing
Work with Contracts and Compliance and management in the development of non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements and sub-contracts for opportunities assigned
Follow up with customers upon project completion to ensure satisfaction
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Project Management, Interior Design, or related field preferred
Experience in sales, customer service, project management, interior design, and working with government contracts may be substituted for education requirements
High level of initiative
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Demonstrates excellent follow-up skills and ability to follow through on all responsibilities
High proficiency in developing interpersonal relationships and ability to communicate effectively
